The cars that fetched the highest prices were a red Ferrari with manual gears, which went for Bt5.94 million, and a red Ferrari with automatic gears that sold for Bt4.6 million.
A total of 123 cars were put up for auction, all of them seized from people who failed to pay proper duty on their imports The department's first auction fetched Bt122.26 million from the sale of 89 cars.

The company says the new model cuts production costs and is easy to move. It will launched in Asia first and in Europe later.
Automobiles :Hyundai crosses 5-million sales mark in the US
Hyundai Motor's cumulative sales in the United States crossed five million units last week, the company said.
Hyundai, the largest Korean auto-maker, reached the milestone two years after it broke the four million mark in 2005.
The company began exporting to the US in 1986 with the compact car Excel and broke the one-million mark in 1990. The company then took nine years to sell its next million vehicles, breaking the two-million mark in 1999. In the following years, Hyundai's sales picked up, and the company broke the three-million in 2002 and the four-million mark in 2005.
The company attributed the rise in sales to establishing a complete production and sales network in the US market. Hyundai, which aims to sell 500,000 units in the United States this year, will be focusing on sales of its luxury sport-utility vehicle, company officials said.
