Songphon Anukrittayawan and Kunchala Voravichitchaikul kept the Thai flag flying in the Philippines Open Badminton Championships in Manila after beating an Indian pair in the mixed doubles second round yesterday.



The Thais defeated Aparna Balan and V Diju 21-15 21-18 to set up a meeting with Russians Valeri Sorokina and Vitalij Durkin, who ousted South Koreans Kim Min-jung and Yoo Yeon-seong 21-19 21-17, in the quarter-finals today.
