"A misguided idea of liberation. Also its the idea of being haunted by a wrong decision," is how bassist and songwriter Nicky Wire describes "Send Away The Tigers".
The album's first single, "Your Love Alone Is Not Enough" featuring the guest voice of the Cardigans' Nina Persson, features the Manics' signature cynical, melancholic and yet fiery manner. Thanks to the track's daytime radio airtime potential, the single succeed in catapulting them back into the limelight three years after their previous hit, "Lifeblood".
Now with their second single, "Autumnsong", around the corner, the band has decided to release two versions of the video, the official television version featuring disenfranchised kids, and an alternative version with the two girls off the album cover singing along to the track.
Both versions are available for viewing at www.manics.co.uk.
