
Kwang Kee Park, managing director of the Korean company, said that while the military officers from all forces are entitled to credit limits of upto 15 times their salaries or Bt1 million maximum, they would also be offered up to 25 per cent discounts on Samsung's consumer electronics.
The "TMB & Samsung Military Welfare Partnership" campaign is expected to generate total revenue of Bt100 million to Samsung.
"This business collaboration is an expression of our gratitude towards officials from all the forces which are the institutions that have always worked hard for the well-being of all Thai people. TMB Bank has been organising welfare campaigns for military officials on a regular basis and the partnership with Samsung will add variety to the line-up of the campaigns.... We hope hat this campaign will be an interesting choice for them," Park said.
The marketing promotion budget for this campaign is set at about Bt10 million and the activities will focus on below-the-line channels.
