TV celebrity ML Nattakorn Devakula is spotted at the Democrat Party headquarters yesterday. He said he went there to invite party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva to appear on his show and that he had no plan to join the party.

He said the news media was out to "trap" politicians and they had to be careful what they said.

Anand attended the 60th birthday of MR Pridiyathorn Devakula, Nattakorn's father, on Saturday.

"Pluem has to be patient and tough," Anand said, calling the young TV celebrity by his nickname.

Nattakorn was seen at Democrat Party headquarters yesterday after inviting Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva to appear on his Channel 9 show.

He denied he would run on the party's ticket in the next election.
