Thai baht closes weaker
The baht closed on Tuesday at Bt33.33-Bt33.35, hardly changed from the morning session. The Thai unit opened at Bt33.33-Bt33.36, weaker than Monday close at Bt33.26-Bt33.28.
A dealer from a local bank said he believed the central bank had intervened in the Thai foreign exchange market to stabilise the baht. - The Nation
