AirAsia to launch Direct Flights between Kuala Lumpur and Krabi

AirAsia is preparing to serve direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and one of Thailand's most beautiful getaways - Krabi, beginning 21 August 2007 with three Airbus flights weekly. Promotional launch fares start from RM39.99 / THB429. Thai AirAsia currently serves three daily flights to Krabi from Bangkok.

Relatively unspoilt, Krabi is nestled in the south of Thailand, along the coast of Andaman Sea. One of the few undisturbed tropical beach resorts, complete with trails of mountain adventures and meandering river valleys, Krabi provides stunning panoramas for photographers and activities such as rock climbing and diving for visitors. The province of Krabi consists of 130 islands in the Andaman Sea.

Scuba diving in Krabi runs all year round but the best diving conditions are from November to April.
