

Dubbed "The King of Romance", British pop star Engelbert Humperdinck returns to the Kingdom on his world tour to celebrate four decades in showbiz.
The show will feature songs from his latest album, "Englebert at His Very Best", as well as his classic hits.
Humperdinck, who was born in Madras, India and began his career in London at the age of 17, made his name alongside Elvis and the Beatles and has been wooing audiences worldwide with his honeyed, mellow voice ever since. He has 64 gold and 24 platinum albums, four Grammy nominations, and won a Golden Globe as Entertainer of the Year in 1989.

'Die Walkure' postponed
Due to the illness of conductor Somtow Sucharitkul, Bangkok Opera's performance of "Die Walkure" ("The Valkyries"), which was scheduled for July 24 and 26, has been postponed and rescheduled for November 30 and December 2.
Those who purchased tickets for the show before July 1 will receive the same seats for the November 30 or December 2 performances, and will in addition receive, as a bonus for their understanding, a free ticket to "Madame Butterfly" on the date of their choice. "Madame Butterfly", starring Nancy Yuen and directed by Henry Akina, will go ahead as planned, opening on August 29.
If ticket holders are unable to attend either of those performances, they may opt to receive a refund from Thaiticketmajor or from the Bangkok Opera, depending on where they originally booked their tickets.

Hello Kitty's Fantastical AdventureJuly 27 to 30, Bangkok Convention Centre
Hello Kitty and her friends will entertain local kids in a new light-hearted musical that takes the beloved cat to new heights. The classic loveable Hello Kitty is joined by her friends Mimmy, Dear Daniel, My Melody, Minna No Tabo, Bad Badtz Maru, Osaru no Monkichi, Konichau, and Pom Pom Purin in this story about how to turn a rainy day into a true adventure.
Meeting Daniel in a mystical forest, Hello Kitty decides to join him in his search for a special stone that takes them on an adventure filled with excitement, danger, good friends and lots of laughs.
Performances are in Thai, except for the 7pm shows on July 29 and 30, which will be in English.
