'Die Walkure' postponed

Due to the illness of conductor Somtow Sucharitkul, Bangkok Opera's performance of "Die Walkure" ("The Valkyries"), which was scheduled for July 24 and 26, has been postponed and rescheduled for November 30 and December 2.

Those who purchased tickets for the show before July 1 will receive the same seats for the November 30 or December 2 performances, and will in addition receive, as a bonus for their understanding, a free ticket to "Madame Butterfly" on the date of their choice. "Madame Butterfly", starring Nancy Yuen and directed by Henry Akina, will go ahead as planned, opening on August 29.

If ticket holders are unable to attend either of those performances, they may opt to receive a refund from Thaiticketmajor or from the Bangkok Opera, depending on where they originally booked their tickets.
