SCG's stake in Aromatics below 5%

Siam Cement Group has sold 38.89 million shares in Aromatics (Thailand Plc) in the past three months, at the expected proceeds of over Bt2 billion.

After the transactions, which were filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, SCG's stake in Aromatics has fallen to 4.63 per cent or 48.71 million shares. As of March 22, 2007, its stake was 8.63 per cent or 83.90 million shares.

During the past three months, Aromatics' average share price was Bt58.73. At the average, the proceeds were estimated at Bt2.28 billion.
