Tammy is doubled over
Tamarine Tanasugarn's Wimbledon campaign this year came to an end yesterday when she and Japanese partner Aiko Nakamura lost to 10th-seeded pair Elena Likhovtseva of Russia and Tian-tian Sun of China 4-6 6-0 7-9 in the women's doubles second round.
The match was stopped at 7-7 in the deciding set on Friday due to bad light and could not be resumed on Saturday due to rain that forced most of the matches to be moved to yesterday.
The unseeded Thai-Japanese duo, who had a match point at 5-4 on Friday, lost their serves to go down 7-8 before the seeded pair held theirs comfortably to seal the victory.
