Sonthi seeks Bt2 bn for ISOC

Army chief Sonthi Boonyaratglin yesterday asked the government for an emergency budget of Bt2 billion for the Internal Security Operation Command (Isoc) to contain violence in the deep South, a government source said.




Kowit's plea is rejected

The Central Administrative Court yesterday dismissed a plaint by former police chief Kowit Watana over his transfer to a civilian post, saying it could not look into his case until an ongoing internal process is concluded.
