Lawson-Marsh invests Bt50m in Sesame Street Show

Sesame Street Show will come to Thailand for the first time in June and July after Lawson-Marsh Events spent Bt50 million to bring it here.

It presents costumed actors and dancers as characters from the television series Sesame Street for performances of a unique multimillion-dollar show.

Since the first production of Sesame Street Show on September 17, 1980, at least 48 million children and their parents have seen the show across the world.

According to Apiphawadee Snidvongs Kruesopon, vice president of Lawson-Marsh Events, Thailand will be the only country in Asia to have a chance to see this show.

Through the event, the company - which specialises in conference, event and exhibition management - hopes to expand into event organising.

"We think there are so many opportunities in this market, especially in the edutainment area," Apiphawadee said.

Lawson-Marsh plans to bring more international edutainment shows and organise at least four local events before the end of the year.
