EASTERN WIRE has appointed Supachart Janekarnkit as managing director, effective last Friday, replacing Chanchai Lekvijitthada, who resigned as both director and managing director. Chanchai has been appointed as executive chairman of investment and affiliated business, effective last Friday.

MARKET FOR ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT reported 33 of the 43 firms listed on it have declared dividends totalling Bt1.19 billion for last year's operations, generating an average dividend yield of 6.5 per cent.
