Astrologer predicts a year of upheaval

A noted astrologer yesterday predicted that Thailand would be hit by political winds of change in June if the government cannot control conflicting parties.

Mas Khehastham, the Feng Shui Science Discovery Club chairman who predicted that the World Trade Centre towers would collapse, said that Thailand would be hit be fire, bombs and political conflicts throughout this year.

June will be the month when conflicts become most intense. "If the government cannot curb conflicts, there will be a government change at that time," he said.

He said he could not predict Surayud Chulanont's future because he did not know the prime minister's birth date, but judging from his character and his round mouth, he might be heading towards bad luck.

The violence in the South will be brought under control but without total peace. The situation will worsen next year and if the government cannot control the situation, the deep South will break away from the rest of the country.

US President George W Bush's future is doomed and billionaire Bill Gates will have cancer, he said.
