SUM has plans that add up

SUM System will expand its business base overseas and provide education material for pocket PCs and mobile phones.

Ubol Sutthna, managing director, said the company will expand to markets in Southeast Asia in the near future since its education products have potential, reasonable cost and functions which enable them to compete with international rivals.

The firm provides education products to institutions such as Ramkhamhaeng University, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and the Armed Forces Academy Preparatory School.

It also provides electronic learning and testing products to businesses and schools to increase their efficiency and control their education management over the Internet, and electronic-learning tools or content-development products to reduce the complexity of operating processes for lecturers and teachers wanting content creation and content management.

"Online education is crucial to improve education systems since it helps teachers and lecturers manage their lessons and provide a knowledge base for their students," said Ubol.

She said the firm also sells education products including Education Sphere Studio, Education Sphere MIS Server and Education Sphere e-Testing Server to schools and universities.
