Highlights of the week :TRT takes Saprang trip to NCCC

The Thai Rak Thai Party will today ask the National Counter Corruption Commission and the Office of the Auditor-General to examine travel expenses incurred by junta member and Airports of Thailand chairman General Saprang Kalayanamitr.
The Thai Rak Thai has accused Saprang of spending Bt7 million on an overseas trip for himself and a delegation that included a relative.
PTV to file police case against Thirapat Thai Rak Thai member Veera Musigapong and other founders of PTV, or People's Television, will lodge a police complaint against Prime Minister's Office Minister Thirapat Serirangsan and Public Relations Department director-general Pramoj Rathavinij. Veera claims Thirapat ordered the department, for which he is responsible, to broadcast a controversial ASTV programme on state-owned Channel 11. Meanwhile, Nirun Pitakwatchara, head of a panel studying subscription television, will seek information from state agencies. The panel was established by Thirapat to solve the problem of unlicensed satellite and cable television broadcasters.
Rally at Sanam Luang against CNS The Confederation for Democracy chairman Weng Tojitrakarn will lead a Sanam Luang rally on Saturday calling on the Council for National Security to return power to the people because the CNS and its government are failing to run the country properly.
