The condition of seven was improving and another seven had been discharged, according to Dr Supan Srithamma.

The injured were admitted to Chulalongkorn and Mahesak hospitals.

Saran Kita, one of four foreigners hurt, is in intensive care. Supan said she suffered burns to her face and throat. Others suffered from smoke inhalation and one had broken bones. All are expected to be discharged within a few days.
