Multimedia exhibition launches in Chiang Mai

A mobile multimedia exhibition entitled "Thailand's Tomorrow", which is a cooperative effort of Nation Multimedia Group (NMG) and 12 top companies, kicks off in Chiang Mai today.
The first event takes place at the northern city's Central Airport Plaza from today to Sunday. Four more will take place in Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla's Hat Yai district, Pattaya and Bangkok later in the year.The mobile exhibition is part of the activities to mark the 36th anniversary of NMG's flagship English-language daily The Nation. The exhibition offers visitors a journey through Thailand's modern history, the present and the future in a unique presentation focusing on 14 themes that have shaped - and will continue to influence - the course of the Kingdom. These include the themes of His Majesty the King and Thai politics. The 12 other themes are sponsored by the 12 companies. Each theme has played a significant role in Thailand's social and economic evolution and is part of several "defining moments" in the history of modern Thailand. The theme of brain power is sponsored by Assumption University, sports by Boonrawd Trading, automobiles by Toyota Motor Thailand, food and farms by Charoen Pokphand Foods, happiness by Nestle (Thai), energy by PTT Group, economy by Kasikornbank, finance by BankThai, lifestyles by Saha Group, urbanisation by Samart Corp, forces of social harmony by Thai Life Insurance and how we communicate by True Move.
