Chon Buri take title
[FUTSAL] Chon Buri Bluewave won the TOT Thailand Futsal League title and Bt1 million in prize money after trouncing TOT 6-0 in the men's final at Fashion Island on Sunday.
The TOT side pocketed Bt500,000, while I AM Sport team beat the Provincial Electricity Authority 7-3 to finish third and take home Bt300,000. Unbeaten Khon Kaen crushed Bang Len Dynamics 4-2 in the final to take the women's crown. Akekapong Suratsawang of Chon Buri Bluewave got the men's best player award while the honour in the women's went to Chao-nee Panlert of Khon Kaen. Brazilian Michael Ferriera of I AM Sport team emerged as the top scorer of the tournament by firing in 48 goals. Orathai Srimanee of Khon Kaen was the top scorer with 51 goals in the women's section.
