Thaksin's hired guns
Former premier Thaksin Shinawatra was still employing a US lobbying firm despite no further comments to the press recently, Democrat Party executive Korbsak Sabhavasu wrote on his website.
Barbour Griffith and Rogers, the lobbying firm Thaksin hired before the coup, reported to the US Congress on February 14 that Thaksin had paid it US$160,000 (Bt5.7 million) from last September 7 to the end of the year, Korbsak said at www.korbsak.com.
