Bangkok youths quite happy with lives : Poll

A new study seeking to measure the Gross Domestic Happiness (GDH) of Bangkok and its vicinity, youths aged between 12 and 24, found they were quite happy with their lives and that materialism was a major factor of happiness.



BOT will revoke controls on some transactions

The Bank of Thailand (BOT) confirmed that by early next week, it would revoke the 30-per-cent withholding requirement for foreign borrowing for direct investment of companies in Thailand.



No murder charge for former senator

Public prosecutors decided Wednesday there was insufficient evidence to put former senator Napinthorn Srisanpang on trial on a charge of masterminding the murder of former Thai Rak Thai MP Kobkul Nopamornbordee.
