Expansion at OfficeMate

Worawoot presents the latest OfficeMate catalogue.
OfficeMate will invest Bt150 million this year in a new 7,000-square-metre Bangkok warehouse as part a plan to boost sales of office accessories to Bt900 million by year-end.

Managing director Worawoot Ounjai said yesterday that customer behaviour was changing, with more people buying office accessories through the Internet and catalogues. As a result the company's sales grew from Bt700 million in 2005 to Bt800 million last year, up 14 per cent.

Demand has shown continued growth, which convinced the company to spend Bt150 million to build a new warehouse in Lat Krabang. The facility will be completed by year.-end

Worawoot said the company had also introduced a new catalogue under the concept "Creative and Fashion Life", to support the new lifestyles of its customers. The catalogue will have 500 pages covering some 8,000 items.

OfficeMate's customers have three channels for ordering office accessories: OfficeMate Catalog 2007, OfficeMate Online through its website www.officemate.co.th, and OfficeMate e-Procurement.

The company expects sales of Bt900 million this year, an annual rise of 12.5 per cent.
