Bomb threat against the Nation

A man made a bomb threat against The Nation newspaper on Wednesday, saying the paper reported onesided and antiThaksin news stories.

He told the paper's telephone operator that he has planted explosives at three spots in the Nation's building on Bang NaTrat Road at 1.38pm.

"My intention is to destroy properties of The Nation," he said. "I don't want to harm the staff. Therefore, I suggest all staff be evacuated from the buildings as the explosives are set to explode within three hours. I decided to do this because the paper has preferred to report antiThaksin news reports which were usually onesided," he said.

Bang Na Police Station has sent a bomb squad to search for the explosives.
