Tararom sees growth

Property developer Tararom Enterprise has forecast sales growth of around 20 per cent, or Bt1.4 billion, next year by focusing on single-house projects priced between Bt3 million and Bt5 million.
Managing director Wasarn Kiangsiri said that although a number of property firms were focusing on condominiums and houses with price tags below Bt2 million for their new projects, he believed that demand for houses costing between Bt3 million and Bt5 million would continue to grow. "Our housing projects on Ramkhamhaeng, Rama II and Watcharapon-Ram-Indra roads expect sales growth of 15 per cent, or Bt1.2 billion, by the end of the year. We believe that our projects will continue to see strong growth compared to the rest of the market," he said. Tararom has four property projects worth up to Bt4 billion. Wasarn said he expected that demand for housing in 2007 would be higher because the economy should improve due to lower interest rates and oil prices while the political situation would be better when the draft Constitution was completed.
