RESORT HOUSING
Seafront home for Bt120m

Baan Talay invites buyers to visit site

The first group of houses and the large clubhouse at Baan Talay, a prestigious address in Bang Saray, are stunning to say the least.

The biggest jewel in its crown is a Bt120-million beachfront house that covers a one-rai plot, with its own stretch of white, sandy beach.

Its front porch, living room and four bedrooms all overlook sparkling blue waves. Of all the high-end resort estates in and around Pattaya, this one deserves attention.

Baan Talay is situated at Kilometre 163 on Sukhumvit Highway, opposite "Suan Nong Nuch" or Nong Nuch Village, a botanical gardens popular with locals and foreigners. It is about a 15-minute drive from Jomtien, far from the crowds and noise of chaotic Pattaya.

The entrance of the estate slopes down from the road to the sea. Baan Talay has neatly subdivided its 52-rai compound into 68 plots for housing, plus a large clubhouse.

Developer Arun Eamsureya, managing director of AEH Company, says he has spared little to construct this high-grade property. The completed clubhouse alone is estimated to have cost Bt100 million.

After a year of finalising his masterplan, Arun has delivered an inviting seaside estate that has lately drawn raves from buyers.

He has so far sold 12 resort homes and expects further bookings during the holiday season this month.

Visitors will not fail to appreciate the luxurious clubhouse, which has a large infinity-edge pool. There is also an exercise room, meditation room, restaurant and other amenities, all ready to receive guests.

"A good resort home should comprise a pristine location with great views, a functional house that meets your needs - and be accessible by good roads," says Arun. "Baan Talay meets these requirements."

"We are focused on high-end residents who expect quality," he adds. "The beachfront house really gives you a comfortable feel. The high ceilings open up the rooms in the houses even more."

The Bt120-million trophy home sports 3.5-metre-high ceilings and has plenty of glass windows to take advantage of the bright and airy surroundings.

But most inspi ringly, one enjoys splendid vistas from all corners of the house.

A private swimming pool at the patio also overlooks the ocean, flanked by green lawns and freshly planted palm trees.

The upper floors are fitted with six-inch teak wood flooring.

The project has five types of design, ranging from two bedrooms to four bedrooms.

A second completed mansion located next to the luxury mansion is also available for viewing.

Smaller houses are available at the site, built on plots of 113 square wah with a usable area of 275 square metres. Prices for these units start from Bt13.3 million.

All residents will have access to the private beachfront, which covers 180 metres. Although the beachfront mansion is closed off, residents can reach the beach through the clubhouse.

The project is aimed at Thai buyers seeking a resort home near Bangkok.

While the prices carry a premium, they do offer a quality location, lovely designs and good standards.

Its sales office is located near the entrance, from which a sales team organised by CB Richard Ellis Thailand will provide information and a tour of the estate.
