Parties face harsher penalties

The Election Commission (EC) yesterday asked public prosecutors to seek maximum punishment for alleged electoral fraud involving five political parties, including the Thai Rak Thai Party.




EC declares goal to regain public trust

The Election Commission is gearing up to improve its image, which was severely tainted by the loss of public trust in members of the previous EC who were sent to jail.
