Pridiyathorn outlines three mega-projects

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Pridiyathorn Devakula today outlined three projects that the government plan to do to promote economic growth.
During the Open House economic seminar, Pridiyathorn said that the three projects that the new government would proceed are First, the mega projects. He said although the previous government has mentioned several mega projects but in fact only the design of one route gas been complete and was ready for bidding.
The interim government plans to operate five lines, three of which are extension routes from the BTS. The government said that it should be able to complete it with the same amount of budget that the previous government had planned to do with the five lines.
Besides, the government has planned to do the water management. It should be done in two steps. The first step in the pipeline submitted to the cabinet for approval. The first one is to prevent casualty from flood.
The second step is water management upstream to limit flooding in rainy season and in dry season, the water can be used for irrigation.
The first phase can be complete in this government.
Pridiyathorn also explained the concept of the sufficiency economy to hundreds of investors attended the seminar yesterday that it does not run against the development but it's just the other side of the sustainable development in the Western concept.
