Thais eye 2 gold

[AEROBICS] Thailand has set its sights on two gold medals from the men's and women's individual categories at the Thailand Aerobics Open World Series from Friday to Sunday at the Indoor Stadium at Hua Mark.
Contestants from 16 nations have entered the three-day meet, with recent men's individual champion Alcan Gregory of France the biggest star. Sawat Sopha, the president of the Gymnastic Association of Thailand (GAT), said Thailand had high hopes for Natthawut Pimpha, who finished sixth in the men's division at this year's International Championships in Germany, and Roypim Ngampeerapong in the women's event. Sawat added that Thailand also had medal hopes for Chanchaluk Yeammitr, Kitipong Tawinan and Pairat Todkamchai in the men trio division. The GAT president is confident that with a Bt4 million budget to stage the competition, Thailand can show the world it has the capacity to host elite tournaments.
