NEW PLACE
Chinois delight

A refreshing addition to the Bangkok spa scene is a cute little place called Cha Spa in Thonglor Soi 25.

The décor and the treatments on offer all seem to be inspired by traditional Chinese medicine - the yin-yang theory of balance of inner elements with a contemporary twist.

A must-try is the signature Total Qi Body Massage (Bt1,450 for an hour) that utilises the Chinese pressure-point massage technique, called Tui Na, to ease away the stress and boost your Chi.

Thai massage, facial treatments and a special programme for men are also available. After the pummelling, you can also regain your energy at the tea room which offers a great selection of Chinese tea.

Call (02) 381 7000.
