Royal Flora Ratchaphruek opens next week
HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will open the "Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006" in Chiang Mai's Muang district next Wednesday, Government Spokesman Yongyuth Maiyarap said Tuesday.
The international horticultural exposition is one of the grand celebrations to mark the auspicious occasion of the 60th anniversary of HM the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne this year.Yongyuth yesterday said His Majesty had assigned his daughter to open the event at 5pm. Cabinet members and foreign envoys will be present during the opening ceremony. The Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 will run until January 31 next year.
