Ousted PM arrives at his luxurious apartment in London

Ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has arrived in London late Wednesday and he is expected to reunite with his family at a luxurious apartment in Kensington. (See his aparment inside)

His daughter, Pinthongta, stays at this apartment, Maple Lodge on Marloes Road during her study.

Thaksin travelled to London from New York after he was ousted by a well-orchestrated coup led by Army Commander in Chief Gen Sonthi Bunyaratglin.

One of Thaksin's critics, Ekkayuth Anchanbutr had said price of the apartment is about Bt320 million.

A journalist of the Nation was barred from entering the premises by a security guard. The Maple Lodge is one of the apartments in the premises marked with a dome building at the entrance.
