Midnight Run soon

[RUNNING] Amari Watergate Hotel and BMW Group Thailand will stage the hotel's 10th Aerobics Marathon and its 9th charity Midnight Run near the end of this month.
The aerobics will be held on September 24 in the Amari Watergate's Grand Ballroom. And two weeks later, more than 3,000 runners - both locals and foreigners - are expected to take part in the hotel's popular night-time mini-marathon. The event has two categories - 6km and 12km. It starts in front of the hotel, close to Pantip Plaza in Pratunam, at midnight on October 7. All participants, who cross the finish line, will receive a medal. The winners in each class will be awarded trophies. The cost of entering is Bt300 but runners who pay Bt1,000 will qualify for a lucky draw for round-trip tickets. Part of proceeds from the event will go to the Chalerm Prakiat HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn School and Baan Gerda, an Aids orphanage in Nongmuang, Lop Buri. Somporn Suphop The Nation
