Late News :Urgency on Alien Business Act
The Commerce Ministry announced yesterday it was seeking to finish an amendment to the Alien Business Act by the end of next month, in order to clear up ambiguity and protect sensitive businesses from foreigners.
Yanyong Phuangrach, the deputy permanent secretary, said the ministry would meet today with the law's drafting committee - to be led by the director-general of the Business Development Department, Orajit Singkalavanich - to speed up the amendment.
