Cathay specials

A range of special deals, discounts and free tickets to Hong Kong will be on offer at the Cathay Pacific Showcase, which ends tomorrow at the Fashion Hall of The Emporium in Bangkok.

Yongyut Lujintanon, Cathay Pacific Airway's manager of sales and marketing for Thailand and Burma, said the event was being held to celebrate the company's 60th anniversary.

Visitors to the fair will see multimedia displays detailing the airline's history, its range of services and even how flight attendant's uniforms have evolved since 1946.

Six travel agencies will provide air tickets and travel packages at special prices, while Cathay Pacific itself will offer free Bangkok-Hong Kong round-trip tickets to anyone aged 60 or over when they buy four regular-priced tickets.
