PGTV adds range via Net

Phuket English-language TV broadcaster PGTV, has been selected as a content provider for Thai telecoms giant TT&T's new MaxnetTV.net website.
Maxnet carries real-time cable and free-to-air programmes for broadband Internet users. TT&T president Prachuab Tantinon said, "MaxnetTV.net is home to a variety of multimedia content to match the needs and interests of broadband Internet users on TT&T and other networks, anytime, anywhere and covering a wide range of lifestyles." He added Maxnet would also provide a channel for independent television and movie producers to publicise their work. Maxnet provides live access to Thai terrestrial channels 5, 7, 9, 11 and iTV as well as some cable and satellite networks. All programmes are free. MaxnetTV carries clips of new movies, music videos, karaoke tracks and links to Internet radio stations, event information and a lifestyle section covering health, food, homes and tourism and shopping. During an introductory period, users can watch archived movies and television for free.
