Women of royal descent call on Thaksin to name "charismatic figure"

A group of women of royal descent and members of elite families on Monday called on caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to disclose the name of the person whom he referred to as "charismatic figure".
The group includes MR Ramphi-arpha Kasemsri, ML Ubol Nilubol, Praphai Prasartthong-osoth and Sumalee Veeravaithaya. They demanded Thaksin to be specific on his comment. They said many people had interpreted that he was referring to a person higher than Prem so Thaksin needed to make it clear whom he was referring to. Thaksin last week claimed that a charismatic figure was trying to overthrow him. They said the formed "the club for the truth" and vowed to keep on campaigning until Thaksin became more specific in his allegations. They held a press conference at the Odeng restaurant in on the Royal City Avenue Road. Praphai said many people had started to believe that Thaksin was referring to a person higher than Prem so he must clarify his statement now. Praphai said her group would go on campaigning to pressure Thaksin until he clarifies his statement. Sumalee said if Thaksin continues to let the people make their own interpretation, there could be fights in the society. The Nation
