Juling's condition is improving : doctors

The condition of Juling Pongkanmul, a teacher who was beaten into coma, is improving as now she could now take liquid food via tube, doctors said.
However, it is not known how long Juling will continue to rely on the respiratory equipment and life sustaining system. Her pulses and blood pressure have been stable, the doctors said. "We will try to do our best to make her condition stable and will continue to observe how her brain reponse," Dr Sumet Pirawuth, director of Prince Songkhla Hospital in Hat Yai, said. The 24-year-old teacher were beaten near death in May by local villagers in Kuching Reupoh Village in Narathiwat. Her mother, Kammee, a Chiang Rai native, said she saw a streak of tear dripped down Juling's face. It occured as she told her daughter that a great number of the country's people have been praying for her quick recovery and that they have been dropping by to visit her on a daily basis. The Nation
