Abac pollster retracts results of survey on visiting royals' popularity

Assumption University's Abac pollster Wednesday retracted the results of its latest survey on the relative popularity of visiting royals just hours after they were released because of pressure from the Foreign Ministry.



'African HIV sub-type' confirmed

Siriraj Hospital Wednesday confirmed reports that it previously had a patient diagnosed with the HIV sub-type C, which is common in Africa yet has never been recorded in Thailand before.
