Lesotho royals tour temple

Lesotho's King Letsie III and Queen Masenate Mohate Seeiso spent the second day of their visit to Thailand at Wat Phrasri Rattana Satsadaram, adjoining the Grand Palace compound.

The king and queen were interested in the Royal Chapel of the Emerald Buddha, which is carved from a block of jade and considered the holiest Buddha statue in the Kingdom.

Later, the royal couple visited the Chakri Throne Hall, once the residence of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).
