Songkhla and Trang Courts acquitted on Tuesday trials against voters who tore up election ballots in the controversial April 2 election on grounds that the election was already invalidated.

Villagers free officials and police in Narathiwat

Local villagers have freed a group of border patrol police and officials on Tuesday who raided their village in Narathiwat's Bacho district and arrested two suspects in connection with the murders of two marines last year.
