EC Charupat to to resign
Gen Charupat Ruangsuwan, an Election Commissioner, is reported to submit his resignation on Monday afternoon.
An informed source quoted him as saying that his assignment to organise a national election was already completed.
Charupat was seen attending a meeting on Monday morning to seek a new election Day, but left before the meeting finished.
He could not be reached for comment.
The source said Charupat will inform his resignation to caretaker Senate speaker Suchon Chaleekrue at about 4pm.
