Respondents of a poll split if Thaksin returns as next premier

Opinions of residents in and around Bangkok seemed almost evenly split on the prospect of caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra returning as the next prime minister, an Abac Poll revealed on Wednesday.



Ex-senior official punished for sexually harassing air crew and passengers

A former senior government official was given on Wednesday a suspended 15-month prison term and a Bt15,000 fine for sexually harassing an air hostess and two female passengers on a Thai Airways flight two years ago.
