AROMATICS (THAILAND) posted Bt348.9 million in first-quarter net profit, down sharply from Bt2.7 billion in the same period last year.
FOCUS ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION has been contracted to build the National Tennis Development Centre in Chaeng Wattana for the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand. The contract is to build the facility and its tennis courts is worth Bt49.95 million.
GLOW ENERGY will pay a dividend of Bt2.25 per share for 2005 operations, or a total of Bt3.29 billion. Payment will be made on May 26.

PTT will establish a company to provide logistics services for the petrochemical business in PTT Group. The total project cost is Bt2.38 billion with a debt-to-equity ratio of 1:1 and projected internal rate of return of approximately 16 per cent. The project construction is expected to begin in the second quarter and commercial operations will start in the first quarter of 2009. The new company will provide bagging and packing services, warehouse management and distribution of products, and establish overseas stock points to rapidly deliver products to customers.
