BB down Polymate

[BASKETBALL] Bangkok Bank yesterday registered their first victory over the SK Polymate in the preliminary round of the King's Cup Division A Championships at Siam University's stadium.

Bangkok Bank, who fielded their reserve players to gain experience, outclassed SK Polymate 107-73 in Group B. In-form Aong-ard Sompao scored 23 points for the winners.

In another match of Group A, Police's Saksit Bunserm broke his cheekbone when Sirichai Oil's Peerapol Suphapanchanon elbowed

him while battling for the ball in the third quarter. Police ended up losing to Sirichai Oil 47-41.

Meanwhile, in Group A of the women's category, Chiang Mai University crushed Kasem Bundit University 53-46.

Today, in the men's events, Royal Thai Navy will meet Royal Thai Air Force while SK Polymate take on Samut Prakan in Group B.

In the women's category, Hi-Tech will face Bangkok Bank B in Group B.
