No more election please : Trang People's Assembly

A local chapter of the anti-Thaksin campaign petitioned on Monday the Election Commission not to organise a third round of voting for 13 Thai Rak Thai candidates who ran unopposed in southern constituencies.

The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) said on Monday it expects to release the findings of its investigation of a multibillionbaht deal to buy firetrucks and fire boats for Bangkok by next month.



BMA may draw money from road projects to extend Skytrain

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) may dump some of its 16 planned road projects worth Bt20 billion in favour of extending the Skytrain lines.
