Rosana Tositrakul is a workaholic and her main obsession is to expose the power wielders in this country. Cabinet ministers do not like her.She and her friends filed lawsuits against the privatisation of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand with the Administrative Court on grounds of conflict of interest. The court ruled in favour of the plaintiff. At 52, she is still very energetic, heading several civil organisations to fight for justice and prevent corruption. Her exposure of malfeasance in the Public Health Ministry related to drug purchases six years ago won her many followers. She used the Official Information Act to obtain information on purchasing records and since then the government has been very careful in releasing information under the Act. A graduate of Thammasat University, Rosana has been attracted to non-violent movements throughout the world. Her interest in public health also led her to several overseas training programmes in health care and rural development.
