SEA Games award for the King

[SEA GAMES] His Majesty the King is to receive an award from the organisers of Southeast Asia's biggest sporting event, the SEA Games.
The SEA Games Confederation has agreed to a proposal put forward by Olympic Committee of Thailand (OCT) president General Yuthasak Sasiprapa to award a SEA Games Federation Merit Award to His Majesty the King. The award to HM the King is in commemoration of his 60th accession to the throne and also because he won a medal in sailing in 1967. Meanwhile, Gen Yuthasak Sasiprapa became the new president of the SEA Games Confederation after taking over from Olympic Committee of the Philippines president Jose S Cojuangco. Member nations have asked Thailand to consider adding more sports like netball, chess, softball, squash, bodybuilding and Swan boat racing into next year SEA Games.
