Quality rubber

The Agricultural Regulatory Office reported yesterday that 2,910 farmers who plant rubber seedlings had already been registered with the Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry to encourage the Kingdom's rubber quality development.

Anan Suwannrat, director of the office, said the farmers controlled 29,700 rai of rubber plantations. They will be allowed to grow rubber trees for commercial purposes and guarantee high quality.

The ministry's plan is to develop the country's rubber quality and increase farmers' income.
