'Shin shares? What Shin shares?'

The tax-free Bt73.3-bn sale of Shin Corp shares has become a rallying cry for members of the anti-Thaksin coalition, who are accusing him of moral turpitude and demanding his resignation. The Nation's Sucheera Pinijparakarn talked to participants at Thaksin's rally.
This is what some of them had to say about the controversial sale of the Shinawatra business empire's mainstay:
Sa Pannai, 63, farmer from Sa Kaew {{I don't know about the shares, and I don't know if Thaksin will explain [the sale of] the shares. Still, I wanted to come here to express my support for the prime minister. I and my friend paid Bt100 each to hire a van from Sa Kaew.|| Suphan Yinglam, 49, farmer from Surin {{Thaksin is a good prime minister. I pity him for the way he's being accused. Although I don't know much about [the sale of] Shin Corp shares, I still love him.|| Maen Tabsakul, 54, employee, from Uthai Thani {{I want to encourage him: I don't want to see Thaksin quit. I don't understand the issue of the share sale, although Thai Rak Thai published a newspaper to explain it. But that's not an issue I care about: I want him to remain prime minister.|| Chalee Nilson, 58, farmer from Ubon Ratchathani {{I intend to listen to the prime minister about all the things he has been accused of by Sondhi. I don't know about the sale of the shares; I think that's a private matter. As long as he can solve the country's problems, I don't care.|| Dej Pimdee, 66, farmer from Nong Khai {{I don't want him to quit as prime minister. I'm devastated that he's dissolved the House. I'll vote for him. I don't understand the sale of Shin shares. Even if he explains it, I won't understand.|| Anant Kaenthong, 50, tradesman from Nakhon Pathom {{I know a little about the sale of Shin shares; I want him to explain it. But he has my support anyway, because I don't want to see Thaksin resign.|| Sri Kraibutr, 63, Si Sa Ket{{I don't know why Thaksin decided to sell his Shin shares. I've come to hear him because someone persuaded me to come to Sanam Luang. I want to cheer Thaksin on because I know he can solve the country's problems.||
