Hi-Tech Almost Home

Hi-Tech are assured of The Nation Super League title after defeating Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) 73-70 at the Nakhon Sawan Main Gymnasium yesterday.

With two more games left, Hi-Tech are well ahead of the chasing pack. They top the table with 18 points after eight wins and two losses. PEA, Tiew Pai Ngam and Bangkok Bank have 14 points.

“I’m satisfied with the performances of my players, who have been battling injury for a long time,” Hi-Tech head coach Manid Niyomyindee said.

“Since we have secured the championship, I will try out my reserve players, who will gain some experience playing in the last two matches.”

Hi-Tech will pocket Bt90,000 for their efforts.

Elsewhere, Bangkok Bank stunned Tiew Pai Ngam in a dramatic game, 72-71.

Today Tiew Pai Ngam meet PEA and Bangkok Bank play Hi-Tech, while The Nation Senior VIP team play Nakhon Sawan Senior Governor team in a special match.
